2014 Language Legacies Grant
Thank you very much for your support. I want to say, even outside of my pleasure about this good news, that I am glad that you all at ELF are doing the larger work you are doing. The more I have worked on this project, the more I have been convinced that there is a lot of knowledge to save in endangered languages. I hope I can help with some of that work, but I want to say again that I am glad you all are doing this work on a more sustained basis. Anonymous |

Spokane Language Dictionary Second Edition
Spokane Language Dictionary Second Edition
The funding we received from the Endangered Language Fund helped us to publish the Spokane Dictionary Second Edition, which is a tribute to the never-ending work Pauline Flett continues to do for the preservation and revitalization of the Spokane Salish Language. Thank you for awarding us the grant – the funding allowed us to create something that will be treasured for many generations.

2014 CoLang - Institute on Collaborative Research
The CoLang institute was amazing. I made so many contacts that I did not know even existed and I gained a lot of confidence in my own abilities and my purpose in studying linguistics. I benefited from learning about how to do even the simplest tasks such as file naming, archiving, and fundamentals about audio recording. I can't thank you enough for your support and this amazing opportunity that I still feel so grateful and thankful for.
