LINGUAPAX
Linguapax North America is represented by the Endangered Language Fund. The Linguapax Institute is a non-governmental organization located in Barcelona that was created in 2001 to promote information and research about language policies, assist the language policy makers of state or regional governments, foster multilingual education and the improvement of learning methods, and connect multilingual education with the culture of peace.
In February 2006, Nick Emlen traveled to Barcelona to meet with the members of the Linguapax Institute and to establish the North American branch of the International Network. ELF is proud to represent the Network as the North American delegation, and we will collaborate with the other delegations on projects involving endangered languages in North America and around the world.
